Community Guidelines
CoMo Events, effective October 19, 2026
Anyone with the app can post a public event and add friends by code. To keep that useful for everyone in Columbia, here is what is and is not allowed.
Posts
- Public events in or near Columbia, Missouri only. Real time, real place.
- No spam, repeated posts, ads disguised as events, or affiliate links.
- No hate, harassment, threats, or content that targets a person or group.
- No adult or sexual content, no drugs, no weapons sales, nothing illegal.
- No private parties, nothing that needs an address kept secret, no events at private homes.
- Use your real name or your organization's name. No impersonation.
How moderation works
- A person reviews every post before it appears, usually within a day.
- Anyone can report a post or a friend profile from the app. Three reports hide a post automatically until it is reviewed.
- You can block a poster or a friend from the app; their content disappears for you immediately and a report is sent.
- Repeat or serious offenders lose the ability to post.
Friends
Friend codes let people you choose see which events you have saved, only if you turn sharing on. Display names must follow the same rules as posts. There is no messaging in the app.
