CoMo Events, effective October 18, 2026, updated October 20, 2026

CoMo Events is a free community app made by an individual developer in Columbia, Missouri. We run no servers, use no analytics, show no ads, and include no third-party tracking SDKs.

What the app uses

Profiles and Sign in with Apple

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Apple, the app stores your profile (display name, interests, who you usually go out with, and the ids of events you saved) in your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit. Only you and your devices can read it; the developer has no access to it. Apple shares with the app only an anonymous user identifier and, on first sign in, the name you choose to share. We do not request or store your email address.

You can delete this data at any time from the Profile tab ("Delete my profile"), which removes it from your iCloud and from the device. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for this app in your Apple ID settings.

What we collect

Only what you choose to publish to other users. Three optional features write to a shared (public) CloudKit database that the developer can read:

Reports you file (reason and your anonymous identifier) are stored so a moderator can act on them. Nothing is used for advertising, analytics or tracking, and nothing is shared with third parties. Delete profile in the Profile tab removes your profile; removing a post or turning off Friends removes those records. Contact picks for invitations stay on your phone.

Children

The app lists public community events, some at bars and breweries, and is rated accordingly. It is not directed at children under 13.
