Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL) CoP: AI and Learning: What Does the Evidence Say?

In this session we'll explore what the emerging research on generative AI and student learning actually tells us — and what does it not yet tell us. We'll have a facilitated discussion of recent literature on AI's effects on student critical thinking, motivation, academic integrity, and writing. Participants will bring one artifact of their own (an article, a syllabus policy, a notable student interaction) to contribute.
