Methods Sampler: How Do SoTL Scholars Collect Evidence?

This session will explore data-collection approaches most common in classroom-based Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) inform the kinds of questions that can realistically be answered: pre/post surveys, interviews and focus groups, analysis of student written artifacts, think-aloud protocols, and reflective journals. We'll approach this discussion with no statistics background assumed.
