Asking a Good Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Question

This session is a workshop in deciding what are good research questions using best practice taxonomy of SoTL questions (what works; what is; visions of the possible; theory-building) as a practical tool for sharpening focus. Participants workshop a draft question of their own in pairs, with structured feedback, before a large-group debrief. The test: Is it researchable with data you could realistically collect? Is it interesting enough that someone outside your discipline would want to read the answer? How might you disseminate your results?
